Join us for the Institute's rotating series of free seminars entitled 'How to Raise Money in Utah!'

The seminar is two hours long, featuring venture professionals and an anything goes Q&A session. This month's seminar will discuss the basics of the fundraising process, how and when service professionals add value, and how to raise capital from the perspective of an entrepreneur who recently did so.

Brad Bertoch- President Wayne Brown Institute
He has worked with over 700 companies that have raised over $1.8 billion in equity capital, is a member of Olympus Angels, and has been a venture partner with Hamilton BioVentures.

Dale Richards - Excel Management Systems
Assists companies with business optimization and assessing capital needs. He has started over 30 companies.

Mary Cardon-USTAR SBIR/STTR Assistance Program (SSAP)
Most recently at GE Money, has 30 years of experience in project management, training, writing, marketing and sales

Curt Roberts-Vice Provost for Innovation and Economic Development at Weber State University. In this capacity he serves as the Director of the Northern Utah Technology Outreach Center for USTAR.
