Agenda: Two early stage companies will present their business plans (10 minutes per company) followed by feedback from a panel of investors (20 minutes per company). The last hour of the event is reserved for networking; light drinks and refreshments will be served.

Larada Sciences Inc: Larada manufactures and markets a non-chemical medical device and related services for eliminating human head lice infestations. The proven technology dessicates lice and eggs in a single treatment using controlled warm-air. The company will sell machines and high-margin disposable kits to healthcare professionals worldwide. We will also build a captive and licensed network of providers who will offer profitable lice treatment services.

Wastewater Compliance Systems (WCS): New UU spinout company that uses patented technology in an integrated product-service offering to ensure wastewater operators remain in regulatory compliance. Our successful marketing program uses publicly available information to identify non-compliant operators. Targeted clients are offered turnkey solutions that cost 60-80% less than competitive alternatives, yet provide us with projected operating margins over 50%. $2.5 billion US market.
