Modest U.S. economic growth returned during 2009’s third quarter, followed by more robust performance during the October to December period, the strongest quarterly growth in six years. Positive but less impressive growth seems on tap during 2010, with the economy still fighting the “headwinds” of housing and commercial real estate anxiety, high unemployment, and consumer angst about the expansion of government and mind-boggling budget deficits.

The February U.S. employment data was subject to wide interpretation in regard to how the labor market is performing, with nasty East Coast weather during much of February greatly impacting the data. Economists refer to such data influence as “noise.”
There are two major problems that salespeople have with their sales pipeline. The first is having too few prospects to reach the level of sales you desire and the second is having more prospects in your pipeline than you can possibly follow-up with in a reasonable amount of time.
