Grant S. Whitaker takes a long view of affordable housing in Utah. As an employee of the Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) for the past 30 years, Whitaker, now president and chief executive officer of the state's housing finance agency (HFA), has seen many changes in the economy. And though he admits that the recent economic downturn is worse than the ones he has seen in the past, Whitaker is optimistic that the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program will survive.

Utah Housing Corporation and the Tooele School District are excited to host an open house for their most recent collaborative effort to provide brand new, affordable housing in Grantsville.
