FatPipe Networks' CTO Is a Recipient of the 2009 YWCA's Outstanding Achievement Award in the Area of Business and Industry

Sanchaita Datta Selected as One of Five Women of Excellence in the State of Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - September 23, 2009) - FatPipe Networks, the inventor and multiple patents holder of WAN optimization, redundancy and security products, announced today that Sanchaita Datta, Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder, is an award recipient of the 2009 YWCA's Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Business and Industry. Datta was one of five women in the state to receive the distinguished award. 

Datta accepted the award at the YWCA's 2009 21st Annual "LeaderLuncheon" at the Grand America Hotel on Friday, September 18, 2009, attended by approximately 1000 people.

Datta is an innovator of technology and a leading business woman in the field of engineering. Datta and her husband, Chief Executive Officer Ragula Bhaskar, Ph.D., are the co-founders of technology firm, FatPipe Networks. FatPipe invented router-clustering technology, which provides a solution for companies that require stable, reliable Internet or other Wide Area Networks (WAN) connections for the deployment of mission critical web applications for business. Datta and Bhaskar own seven patents to date, and more patents are pending. With Sanch at the helm of FatPipe's Engineering Department, the company has enjoyed solid growth with offices in the United States and abroad. The Award acknowledges Datta's notable and continued success.

Datta has been recognized by her peers, with other accolades to her credit. This includes being the first recipient of the 2008 Women Tech Awards, winning the coveted Technology Innovator Award, presented by Utah's Women Tech Council and the MWCN. She was a recipient of Connect Magazine's 2006 Reader's Choice Award, "25 People Who Most Influenced Business in Utah." Datta was also selected as one of Utah's top female executives by Utah Business magazine and being listed in the 30 Women to Watch, and she was awarded the Woman Innovator Award by the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in 2001. She was also one of the first voting members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' Standards Committees for 100 mbits/s technology and wireless LANs.
