Richter7, a Salt Lake City advertising and public relations agency, has named Tal Harry as president.
Succeeding Dave Newbold, Harry, a Richter7 partner for the last six years began at the agency in 1988 as a runner. Cited by ADWEEK magazine as a “creative star in the Intermountain West,” Newbold will continue as executive creative director and focus on his two passions: writing and creative direction.
With nearly three decades of experience in advertising, Harry’s passion for strategic direction and branding has benefitted clients, such as Zions Bank, Utah’s Hogle Zoo, Polynesian Cultural Center, Mountain America Credit Union, Park City Chamber, Papa Murphy’s Pizza and more.
“It’s with great confidence and excitement that we announce Tal as agency president,” said Scott Rockwood, CEO of Richter7. “Under his leadership, Richter7 is poised for greatness. His vision will drive truly great results for our clients.
“Structuring it such that Dave can more fully dedicate himself to continue to generate exceptional creative ad campaigns is the best of all worlds for Richter7 and our clients.”
As president, Harry will guide the overall direction of the company while continuing to work directly with clients.
“I absolutely love the advertising business and generating outstanding creative work that brings results for our clients,” said Harry. “I look forward to continuing to build the Richter7 culture that allows us to work in this field we do with such passion.”
Named Utah’s “Best of State” advertising agency eight times, Richter7 is nationally recognized for effective advertising, public relations and design for clients from Minneapolis to Hawaii.
