Tom Love, president of Love Communications, announced the hire of two new key employees, including Mark Stevenett as vice president, shareholder and group account director, and Emily Christopher as digital marketing manager.

After eight years, Stevenett returns to Love Communications, resigning as president of a Utah County based advertising agency where he fostered creative and technology talent, and helped grow the small firm to an internationally recognized agency. While at that firm, he also managed several digital marketing clients, including Adobe, LifeLock and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Previously at Love, Stevenett oversaw the cause marketing arm of the agency, including nationally-recognized campaigns for Utah’s The Truth tobacco education campaign. He also directed the strategy of several media accounts for Utah Department of Health, including prevention programs and awareness campaigns for heart disease, stroke, colon cancer, and breast and cervical cancer. Stevenett returns to Love bringing vast industry and leadership experience to the agency, and will play an intricate role in leading the strategy of several high profile clients. Stevenett graduated from Brigham Young University in health sciences. He is an advisory board member for Addo Recovery, and a board member for Community Health Connect.

“It speaks volumes about our agency and the relationships we build when former employees have the desire to return,” said Tom Love, president of Love Communications. “Mark is a star. He returns with fresh perspective and experience that will only serve to benefit our agency and clients. We welcome him back with open arms.”

Another recent hire, Emily Christopher, is a strong addition to Love’s expanding digital marketing team, the fastest growing department at the firm. She is responsible for providing clients with the strategic direction of organic search (SEO), paid search (PPC), content marketing, conversion optimization, inbound marketing and social media strategy. Christopher previously worked as a digital marketing specialist for a local digital marketing firm servicing clients, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Henry Schein, Mountain America Credit Union and Utah.com. Christopher graduated from University of Utah with dual majors in strategic communications and Spanish.

“Our agency has experienced tremendous growth over the past few months in all aspects of the business,” said Love. “We are committed to attracting and retaining the best talent to serve our clients. Mark and Emily are a tremendous addition to our team, and we’re confident their experience will be appreciated by each of our clients they serve.”
