Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. celebrates the new board position its president and CEO, Dave Zitting, has taken on the California Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Directors.

“I am honored and excited to serve on CMBA’s board,” said Zitting. “For PRMI to continue our growth and success in California, we have to be immersed in the market, connecting with the consumers and ensuring we’re meeting their specific market needs.”

The CMBA’s mission is to represent the residential and commercial real estate finance industry before all governing bodies. Through its various networking and educational opportunities, it inspires and promotes sound business practices and honesty in marketing, origination, lending and servicing of mortgage loans.

With nearly 25 years in the industry, Zitting’s expertise will be an asset to the board, especially as it relates to his participation with and knowledge of regulatory matters. Having started as a mortgage originator as a teen, he brings experience in structural finance, mortgage regulations, business development and marketing.

Elected in April, Zitting’s new three-year appointment will begin on June 1. He is joined by Annemaria Allen (The Compliance Group), David H. Battany (PennyMac), Ryan Chapman (Johnson Capital) and Don Curtis (OSC, a Breckenridge Company).
