The Salt Lake Chamber Expo MarketPlace helped propel ideas and solutions for Utah businesses today at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

“You can feel the buzz and the excitement,” said Lane Beattie, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber. “The economy is improving and businesses are eager to grow.”

In its 23rd year, the Expo MarketPlace, previously called the Business-to-Business Expo, featured over 100 exhibitors ranging from small to big organizations. Approximately 1,000 people attended the event.

“It’s been a very productive afternoon,” said Aaron Call, TITLE of G&A Partners. His company offered free massages to let people know about the wellness program it offers. G&A Parnters handles.

Mark Eaton, former center for the Utah Jazz and NBA All-Star, was the keynote speaker at the Expo Forum, a luncheon hosted prior to the opening of the Expo MarketPlace show floor. Eaton shared his four keys to building a winning team.

“People want you to take them to the next level,” said Eaton. “If you take the to the next level you become invaluable to them.”
