Blue Lemon restaurant announced signing an agreement to open it first restaurant in Ogden, Utah.

This will be the locally-owned and operated chain’s fifth Utah location, and sixth overall. Blue Lemon is known for preparing high-quality, natural foods in unique combinations at affordable prices. Blue Lemon co-owner and CEO, Aaron Day, reported signing a lease for a 4,000 square-foot space at 339 East 2250 South in Ogden. The new restaurant will be in The Junction area of downtown Ogden, near the newly-built LDS Temple, and it is anticipated to open in fall 2014.

“We’re thrilled that the community has responded so favorably to our fast casual gourmet restaurant concept and are excited to bring our brand to the Ogden area,” said Day. “The city has been most helpful in welcoming us to the community.”

The Ogden location announcement comes just one month before the anticipated grand opening of another new Blue Lemon restaurant in Sandy, Utah. Day said the company, co-owned and operated by his wife Lychelle Day, plans to expand into other markets in the coming years. In May 2014, the young entrepreneurial couple opened their first out-of-state location in Gilbert, Arizona and now employ more than 200 people chain wide. The Days are also considering franchising the brand in the future.
