BambooHR announced the launch of The Elevate Summit, the HR software pioneer's first-ever user conference.

The Elevate Summit gathers BambooHR's users, top HR professionals and business leaders to discuss emerging HR trends and best strategies for tackling current and eminent problems with powerful technological solutions. This conference — held April 26–28, 2017 at the world-class Snowbird Resort in Sandy, Utah — offers a prime opportunity for HR professionals to learn how to move beyond operational and administrative tasks to elevate their careers and provide strategic value.

"We've always felt that HR is the most important yet often most neglected department in most organizations, which is why we've made it our mission to set HR free to do great work. Great work is strategic and business-critical. We're excited that some of the industry's most influential thought leaders and innovators will be teaming up with us at The Elevate Summit," said Ben Peterson, CEO and co-founder of BambooHR. "This meaningful summit will give hundreds of HR professionals the tools, ideas, and support they need to be more impactful and strategic leaders in their organizations."

The Elevate Summit offers a unique blend of education, networking, training and the gorgeous Utah mountain scenery — all designed to elevate HR professionals' work and pave a way to better HR. Attendees have access to top-notch industry education, with keynote and breakout sessions from industry experts and product champions discussing the latest innovations in HR trends and insights. The conference provides users with individualized training from BambooHR representatives at the "Genius Bar," and opportunities to connect and collaborate with like-minded HR professionals. The Elevate Summit is a prime time for users to experience BambooHR's award-winning culture and values first-hand, including Lead from Where You Are and Grow from Good to Great.

In addition to BambooHR executives, The Elevate Summit's first year features a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including:

  • Patty McCord — Former chief talent officer at Netflix, workplace innovator, culture and leadership consultant. Patty McCord served as chief talent officer of Netflix for fourteen years and helped create the Netflix Culture Deck. Having worked in every environment from small start-ups to behemoths, she currently coaches companies and entrepreneurs on culture and leadership.
  • Susan Cain — Co-Founder of Quiet Revolution and the author of bestsellers Quiet: The Power of Introverts in A World That Can't Stop Talking, and Quiet Power: The Secret Strengths of Introverts.  Susan Cain's TED talk has been viewed over 16 million times, and she has spoken at many other notable locations including Google, Harvard and the U.S. Treasury. Named one of Fast Company's Most Creative People in Business, Cain has published pieces in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal and many others.
  • Shawn Murphy — Author at AMACOM, CEO of Switch & Shift. Shawn Murphy keeps a weekly column, "Positive Business," on and was recently named a "Top 100 Leadership Speaker" by the publication. • Brad Montague — Creator of Kid President. Brad Montague created the very first Kid President video in July of 2012 out of the simple belief that kids have voices worth listening to. Many of these videos have been viewed millions of times, with one of the most popular videos receiving more than 40 million views on YouTube. With no fancy film crew or staff, Montague hopes each video will inspire and encourage others, and make them happier than they were before they clicked play.

The Elevate Summit will begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 26 and continue until 10:00 a.m. on April 28, with optional onsite activities following. Early bird tickets are at the low cost of $695 and end on March 26; regular priced tickets are $795.
