Global Upside announced that Spencer Brown has been named Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
As CRO, Spencer will continue the growth of Global Upside’s portfolio of services that include accounting, international expansion, talent acquisition, and professional employer organization (PEO) in 100+ countries. Spencer will also help the company grow its newly-launched HR software division Mihi.
“Spencer has a proven record of providing strategy and leadership to help companies grow faster and better, and he shares our values on creating the ultimate Client experience,” said Global Upside Co-Founder and CEO Ragu Bhargava. “As we break new ground in areas like HR technology and expand our global footprint, Spencer’s cross-functional expertise in sales, technology and international expansion gives us a tremendous advantage.”
Spencer has over 20 years’ experience in sales management and partner development. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales and Customer Success at Pluralsight, where he led the group’s international expansion into Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. Spencer helped Pluralsight achieve a compounded annual growth rate of over 80%. Previously at Marketstar, an Omnicon Group company, Spencer assisted small to Fortune 500 companies establish their global footprint and operations overseas.

Spencer is based out of Global Upside’s Salt Lake City, Utah office. He is very active in the local community and serves as a director on a charitable board, Love Thy Neighbor, providing local and international humanitarian aid and service.
