Bank of Utah President Douglas L. DeFries announced the appointment of two mortgage lenders and two commercial loan officers to join the team at the Orem branch.
David White and Allen Morris join Bank of Utah as mortgage lenders. Previously, White was the branch manager for Bendigo Bank in Australia where he managed staffing, risk compliance, lending and overall productivity of the branch. Morris, also to serve as a mortgage lender for the Orem branch, worked as a retention point advisor at Autopoint, a software company in Utah. Both will be responsible for approving applications and managing clients in the mortgage loan process.
Arthur Newell and Julia Bibby will bring extensive expertise to Bank of Utah as commercial loan officers. Newell has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years and has experience as a regional manager, senior vice president and banking manager at various banks in Utah. Bibby is a banking expert with experience as a credit analyst and client service manager at banks on the east and west coast. The new commercial loan officers will oversee operations of commercial, real estate and credit loans.
“The new talent coming to the Orem office is outstanding,” said Doug DeFries. “Each comes equipped with unique skills and abilities that will prove very useful to Bank of Utah. We are pleased to welcome four talented new employees to the Bank of Utah family.”
