Cornerstone OnDemand announced it has hired Trish Coughlin as its first Chief Accounting Officer.
Coughlin brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and operations to Cornerstone and will lead the company’s new hub in Utah. Prior to this role, Coughlin was the Corporate Controller for Workday, and has held finance positions at Goldman Sachs, Honeywell and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Coughlin will oversee Cornerstone’s global accounting operations, as well as run the new 26,000-sq.-ft. office in the Salt Lake City area (75 West Towne Ridge Parkway, Sandy, Utah), which is quickly becoming a major tech center. Referred to as Silicon Slopes, the area is home to several of the country’s newest technology unicorns – startups with a valuation over $1 billion – and has one of the fastest growing job markets in the U.S.1
The new office is expected to contribute up to 350 new jobs to the local community, which will equate to about $6 million in new state revenue and an estimated $4.4 in capital investment over the next seven years. Currently, open positions in the office span across Finance, Global Product Support, Sales, Engineering, Product Development and Administration.
This will be Cornerstone’s second largest office in North America – its largest is in Santa Monica, Calif. – and its 20th office worldwide. With nearly 2,000 employees in 43 countries, Cornerstone serves more than 40 million people and is one of the largest cloud-based, enterprise technology companies in the world.
