Each year the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates, connects, and empowers service members during National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW). This marks the sixth annual NVSBW.
Join us, our resource partners, and other organizations as we celebrate the veteran- and military-owned business community.
This year’s theme is Mission #VetBiz Success, where we will highlight the tools and resources used to help veterans on their journey to small business success. Whether you’re just starting your business or expanding into new locations, SBA is here to support you throughout your mission.
Each day during NVSBW, we will highlight different topics related to the veteran entrepreneurship journey, including:
Stakeholders and Resources
Access to Capital
Local Events include:
Monday, November 4, 10:30 a.m. – The SBA Utah District Office will pay a visit to local veteran owned business, Alpha Coffee, in Cottonwood Heights at 7260 Racquet Club Drive, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121.
Join us at Alpha Coffee, to kick off National Veterans Small Business Week! The SBA Utah team and local entrepreneurs, veterans, and small business owners will get the week started right with a hot cup of Dawn Patrol, Double Barrel Black, or, maybe even some Charlie Don't Surf.
Alpha Coffee is a Utah-based coffee roaster and distributor, with one brick and mortar location. They have plans to open additional locations beginning within the next year – three locations in and around Salt Lake City, and one in Weber County near Hill Air Force Base.
The networking will be good, the coffee will be great...what more could you ask for? Mission #VETBIZ Success!
