American Fork-based eLearning Brothers is on a mission to create "eLearning Rockstars" by providing the planet's largest and most interactive library of assets for rapid eLearning content development.

Its quest received international attention in November when the company was recognized as one of the International Learning Technologies Companies of the Year by London-based Learning Technologies.

eLearning Brothers was selected for the award from a field of 400 entrants. The 2017 winners were announced at an awards gala and ceremony in London on Nov. 29, where more than 800 industry leaders gathered to celebrate the best learning technologies from across the globe. After being short-listed to a selection of just five international companies, eLearning Brothers earned the bronze level award in recognition of the company's international reach, global impact and innovation in the industry.

Like many Utah startups, eLearning Brothers began as a great idea that grew out of a basement. In 2009, Co-founder Shawn Scivally started making eLearning games and template designs while working from home. His brother and co-founder, Andrew, helped at night and on weekends until he joined the company full-time in 2010. The two brothers believed they had the skills and knowledge to put together interactive, engaging and inspiring content to help others enhance their eLearning courses. Indeed, they did.

Since its founding, eLearning Brothers has grown to become a global provider of eLearning templates, custom eLearning design and training for eLearning professionals everywhere. The company has more than 50 employees, as well as partners and resellers across the globe, including the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Italy, Australia, India, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Dubai, New Zealand, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico, France, Belgium and Switzerland.

The International Company of the Year award caps off a year of recognition for eLearning Brothers, after being recognized as a four-year winner on the Inc. 500/5000 list, a four-year winner in the top 20 fastest growing companies in the Silicon Slopes of Utah, the Utah 100 and Utah Valley 360 Business Q awards, and other industry awards. CEO Andrew Scivally says the Learning Technologies Award "is the capstone of an amazing year of hard work and dedication by everyone at eLearning Brothers."

eLearning Brothers first appeared on the Inc. 500 list in 2014, where it was also ranked as the 13th Fastest Growing Education Company in the United States. The company has remained on the Inc. list ever since – less than 10 percent of the companies that make the list ever achieve four years or more, according to Eric Schurenburg, Inc. Magazine's president and editor in chief.

"We are thrilled to be named one of the fastest growing companies in Utah by Utah Valley 360 Business Q and Mountain West Capital Network, as one of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. Magazine for a fourth consecutive year, and now as the International Company of the Year," says Curtis Morley, president and chief growth officer. He attributes the awards and recognition to the company's continued growth and customer focus, which "are part of the culture and vision of where we plan to take the company."
