To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Salt Lake Chamber Women’s Business Center and the Organization of Women in International Trade will host an international trade conference called, “Utah Women in Global Business and Trade Conference.”

The conference offers local women business owners a chance to learn about global importing and exporting opportunities.

 

The conference, to be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, in the Wells Fargo Room at the Salt Lake Chamber, creates networking and learning opportunities for business owners, international business resource providers, students and others. 

 

Conference attendees will participate in workshops, expert panels, breakout sessions, an awards luncheon and presentations by successful women in the global trade industry. Speakers and panelists include local business leaders such as Elizabeth Goryunova of World Trade Center Utah, Carine Strom Clark of Allegiance Software, Inc., and Chris Redgrave of Zions Bank. International experts include Rose Sager of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sabina Zunguze of A Gift to Africa, and Cynthia Douglass of the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce.

 

Registration for the conference begins at 8 a.m. The fee is $20 and includes a continental breakfast and a buffet lunch.
