History is very wide and carries numerous mysteries that still need to be solved. There are many mysteries that can be solved with the help of Science but most of them remain unsolved over a period of time. Let me list some of the most important historical mysteries that still need to be solved.

1.The Missing Remains of Christopher Columbus
Christopher Columbus is the man who discovered the United States of America. The dead body of the most famous Italian Explorer Christopher Columbus is not known and even this time people are arguing over it. The mysterious part is that the body of Christopher Columbus has never moved to Hispaniola. A box with a word inscribed “Glorious Eminent Cristobal Colon” that contains a dead body was found in 1877 at the Cathedral of Santo Domingo and the DNA was related to Diego who is Christopher’s brother. This also says that they came from the same womb and the Dominican Republic questions the authenticity of the DNA result and needs an evaluation of the bones in Hispaniola.

2.The Lost Treasure of the Late Dictator Adolf Hitler
It is believed that the dictator Adolf Hitler has a vast treasure and $4 billion of wealth is still one of the historical mysteries no one has solved till now. Even after so many years of Hitler death, many have tried but still, no one finds it. Only small pieces can be found in different parts of the country near Germany but the majority is still unkown. According to historians, it is believed that the money has been deposited to banks in different countries. There are still theories that say the late dictator hid it in an isolated area near Deutschneudorf, Germany.

3.The Source of the “Wow” Signal
There was a strange frequency was captured by a radio telescope in Wesleyan University’s Perkins Observatory. If you can see the picture, there are a group of letters and numbers that are linking to each other but no one knows the real meaning of it. Jerry Ehman was the person on duty who is also an astronomer and because of this, he has written Wow” in the printed paper. Even right now, no one understands the mystery of this signal. Few people say that it was a message from Aliens waiting to be decoded by us.

4. The Mystery of USS Cyclops disappearance
USS Cyclops ship was built to withstand extreme weather conditions and has approximately 306 professional sailors who lost their way and sunk at the bottom of the ocean with a lot of unanswered questions. The ship was last seen navigating its way to Baltimore on the 4th of March 1918 and there is no trace of the lost ship or its crew. It is believed that the ship disappeared because of Bermuda Triangle, however, now the experts today can give us a mathematical answer of how shipwrecks happened in the Bermuda Triangle but still believed that the case of different.

5.The “Phaistos Disc” of the Minoan Civilization
The ancient disc contains inscriptions in an unknown language and there are historians that believed that it will play an important role in understanding the Minoan Civilization Historians also believed that it contains message encrypted in the disc could be a story that takes place during the reign of their civilization, a hymn or a geometric theorem for a calendar.

6.The true identity of the star of Bethlehem.
It is one of the famous stars from the bible that has captured many people and there are theories that say to consider it a UFO (Unidentified Object) or an alien spacecraft since it’s visible day and night and move constantly like it’s following a track. Researchers from Great Britains says that it is a nova star and it is the same as seen in China in the spring of 5 BC (Before Christ). Johannes Kepler said that it was just an instance of two planets forming a new star and there are many astronomers that say it is only a falling comet. It is one of the biggest historical mysteries in the world.

7.The missing burial ground of the founder of the Mongol Empire Genghis Khan
Genghis khan is a great leader who has founded the Mongol Empire and even a great conqueror who extended its territory from China to Hungary. He died in 1227 and his loyal followers buried him in an unmarked place and all the witness has been buried. It is believed that the horses were also used to destroy evidence of the Great Khan’s burial and followers shifted the river roll to hide the place. There are other historians that say his body is in Khentii Aimag province of Mongolia but the archaeologist found the temple of Genghis Khan in 2004.

8.Is the Bimini road part of Atlantis?
Edgar Cayce who is an American Christian Mystic has predicted that the remains of the Atlantis will be found in the Islands of Bimini and also said that it will likely to happen around 1968 – 1969. The prediction was correct when professional divers from the Bahamas discovered several lined up big limestones that looks like a highway underwater but people believed that it just remains of an ancient civilization.

9.Zeus, Poseidon and God’s of Greek Mythology could have been Aliens.
Gods are the ones who created life on planer Earth with their enormous power and intelligence and they should be followed and praised. There are a different set of people who also believe that they are aliens that contain advanced technology and brilliant minds interfering with human lives. 10.Did the Babushka Lady play a role in JFK’s assassination?
If you see the picture below, there is a lady in a brown coat and scarf on her head that made her Babushka Lady. This picture is a part of the film and documents presented during the investigation of the assassination of the late president. It has been seen that the lady is seen taking pictures and documenting the event. American authorities were looking for this lady and even they release a press statement asking for her film to be delivered, no film was delivered, the lady never appeared. The lady named Beverly Oliver admitted that she was the lady in the picture but the stories told by her have glaring discrepancies and the majority of people considered her only as a con artist. There are many questions that remains unanswered like Is she involved in the assassination? or Did she take a picture of JFK’s assassin? and many more.
